Although a trade scale was
less than 20.000,000 dollars in 1989, the early
times of the trade, By reaching to 600,000,000
dollars in 2002, and 700,000,000 dollars in 2003,
a trade scale increased 38 times compared to 1989.
Therefore, South Korea became the 2nd trade country
after China in 2002.
The trade between south and north reached to 720,000,000
dollars, which is increase of12.9 percentage compared
with the previous year owing to 4- economic cooperation
