The historical moment where the U.S
resolution regarding on repulsing the military power
attack of North Korea and supporting with the assistance
for the recovery of security of South Korea and
World peace-was settled at the 2nd Security Council
(1950 6.27 23:45 local time). This resolution was
passed at 11:45 PM by 7 votes in favor, 1(Yugoslavia)
negative vote, 2 blank ballots (India, Egypt).

At July 1st the head unit of the
24th division, 1st squadron 21st regiment (Task
Force Smith) was airlifted in Busan for the first
time after the U.S has decided to fully intervene
in the Korean war. Following, the 34th regiment
reached Busan port and came down the warship.(1950.7.2) |

The UN declared ¡°Intervention in
the Korean war¡± passed by the Security Councils
2 times and organized allied forces. As the supreme
commander of ¡°UN¡± army general ¡°Mc Arthur¡± was appointed
at July 7, 1950. The U.N flag presented from U.S

3 months, the U.S air force bombing planes isolated
the supply road by bombing and destroying about

At August 3, 1950, the UN forces
entered the Nakdong river zone and build up the
¡°Walker¡± line. Between the 5th and the 19th a bloody
battle spread out the whole area of Nakdong river
bridgehead. The picture shows the Nakdong river
iron bridge recovered temporarily but still with
traces of the fierce battle. |

attack continued on Pohang. |
